You need some kind of wiring to retrofit these lci lights into pre lci cars. BMW offers different cable sets for 4 series cars.

Car must be recoded, preferably at next official bmw dealer, after installation. Otherwise the lights will not work!
The LCI lights can be retrofit for cars till build of year 02/2017!
Only for F32 coupe, F33 convertible and F36 gran coupe cars. Also for F83 M4 convertible cars.
Fits not for F82 M4 coupe cars!!!
