Description
Original BMW rear box for rear bike rack.
-For vehicles with a high-mounted exhaust system (X3 and larger), please also install the separately available heat guards.
-These protect the rear box from excessively hot exhaust gases.
-Avoid prolonged or repeated acceleration under full throttle.
-Be sure to observe the maximum load of the rear box, the maximum permissible load of the tow bar, the tongue load of the trailer hitch, the permissible gross vehicle weight, and the maximum permissible axle load (see vehicle owner's manual).
-Otherwise, the rear box and/or rear bike rack could detach from the vehicle, causing injury to you and other people and/or property damage, including your vehicle.
-The maximum load of the rear box is limited to 45.0 kg. Do not exceed this value, as this could damage the rear box.
